The University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute currently has three adapted sports programs available for patients and the community to choose from: wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby and adapted golf. All three are open to players from beginner through experienced levels, and encourage friendly competition along with the opportunity to forge new friendships with people who not only face similar lifestyle challenges, but also have similar goals and interests.
