The interdisciplinary team at University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute is uniquely personalized and goal-oriented. At admission, members of the patient care team perform comprehensive assessments of patient needs. These team members work together to create an individualized treatment plan and provide ongoing care designed to help the patient work toward his or her rehabilitation goals. This approach ensures a high degree of ongoing medical attention and continuity of care for each patient.
Depending on individual patient needs, the team on University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute's inpatient brain injury unit may include:
